UA Global Engagement & Initiatives

The University of Arizona was founded in 1885. Cross-border initiatives with Arizona’s sister state of Sonora in northern Mexico were the beginning of a legacy of international engagement in study, teaching and research that now extends to all corners of the globe. Today, the UAs historic role as a premier, world-class land grant institution is ever-present.
