Visiting scholars are research scholars who hold a doctoral degree or the foreign equivalent and with an appointment comparable to faculty at the University of Arizona.
Visiting scholars are either self-supported or have adequate support funds from sources outside the UA Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health. Their time at the UA College of Public Health is typically one year, to collaborate on research projects and publications with faculty and/or attend courses. They are granted full access to the library and other resources for research and training at the University of Arizona and College of Public Health.
