Funding Opportunities For Students


Student Travel Awards for Conference Participation

  • Limited funding for student travel to scientific and public health meetings is available
    • Priority is given to applications from students who 1) are presenting their work (e.g. posters, abstracts) at a meeting; 2) have completed a significant portion of core curriculum, and 3) have not received previous travel funding.
    • Application for Dean's Annual Fund

Global Internship/Research Scholarships

  • Kent Campbell Internship Fund
    • To support Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health student internships in developing countries, preferably Africa.
      • The objective of the fund is to provide eligible students with an opportunity for applied experience in global health with a goal of contributing to a next generation global public health cadre.
      • For full-time MPH students enrolled in the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health. 
      • Recipients must be in good academic standing and have demonstrated a commitment to public health and global health.
      • Application for Dean's Annual Fund
  • Michael Mikhael Family Global Health Fund
    • To promote cultural diversity by supporting international students studying in the College, domestic students who wish to complete internships abroad or faculty who wish to pursue global health research.

General Scholarship Funding

Students are encouraged to apply for College of Public Health General Scholarships, which may be used for global projects and travel.
